TAYLORCRAFT Model 20 Sedan

a project. Never heard of one? Me too until this one showed up on my hometown airport. Powered by an O-470 with constant speed propeller, this one lived in Alaska for most of its life. Airframe, engine and propeller TT is 795.4, engine SMOH is 224,4 with 126 hours STOH.

Wings were removed to facilitate front spar replacement. This work is done, the wood is beautiful and the wings are trammed, leading edges installed and ready for tank installation. Owner is well progressed on resurfacing of fuselage skin, which is made of fiberglas. Original covering on this 'ahead of its time' design was allover fiberglas. Wing covering was changed many years ago to open span dacron via the Ceconite process, and uses the Cessna type wire retainers to hold fabric to wing ribs. New instrument panel, instruments and avionics package as shown in the above photo new, engine controls, much too much to list. Send your questions and we will respond with complete details.
